A very important sector of our business is made up of Industrial and Wholesale customers. This group is made up of customers whose needs cannot be met on the forecourt. Esso Ireland sells direct to over 220 large industrial customers, government and state sector companies. In addition, our network of authorised distributors sell to more than 50,000 such customers.

From heating homes, offices and factories to powering the Irish transport infrastructure, Esso plays a major role in the Irish commercial fuel market. We are a major supplier to airlines operating out of Dublin Airport and our fuels and lubricants keep the trains, buses and ships running.

Agriculture has always been a key industry in Ireland and Esso has a role to play here also. Modern farming methods have become increasingly mechanised and at Esso we have been a consistent leader in supplying fuels and lubricants to the farming trade.
