Who are we?
Esso Serve Europe
Esso Serve Europe (ESE) is a is a
multi-lingual business support centre and a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, the
world's largest private oil and petrochemicals organisation. The centre was
established in 2001 to optimise the level of customer service and process
efficiencies available to Esso's fuels customers across 14 European countries,
replacing activities previously undertaken by each European country. Within
ExxonMobil, ESE is regarded as one of the most successful business support
centres in the world.
ESE was originally established to
manage the Order to Cash process for all fuels customers in Europe. Our
customers include Esso's service station network and various industrial
customers such as schools, hospitals, armed forces and local government
agencies. In practical terms, this means ESE manages the processes of
customers being set up in our master computer system, the facility for
customers to order fuels products, planning and co-ordinating fuel deliveries
and customer billing.
ESE also supports ROSC which provides
centralised back office support for service stations that are directly owned
and operated by Esso. The services ROSC provides to our service station
network include optimising stock levels, maintaining pricing and product
information and the effective management of all wetstock (fuel products) and
drystock (products sold in the service stations retail stores). ROSC is also
responsible for invoice processing and reconciliation.
